So, you´ve crossed the Devil´s Shroud...
A downloadable book
Creating a new pirate for your game of Sea of Thieves RPG and you need some help with sparking your ideas? Then look no further! This small expansion is designed to ignite your imagination and help you create a unique and captivating pirate for your grand adventures on the seas!
Within this mini-expansion, you'll discover three random tables, each with fifty possibilities:
- "Small Treasures" unveils a trove of trinket ideas that hold a deep significance for your character. These items might be inherited heirlooms, mementos obtained during crucial voyages, or artifacts that led your pirate on their quest to the Sea of Thieves.
- "Scars and Tattoos" presents striking physical traits that set your pirate apart from the rest. These distinctive marks could be intentional body modifications conveying a personal message or battle scars acquired through heroic encounters or unfortunate mishaps.
- "Names and Nicknames" is the final table which is a collection of pirate-themed names, spanning various cultures and genders.
While it perfectly suits any pirate-themed RPG, keep in mind that Sea of Thieves portrays a romanticized version of pirates akin to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. If you desire a more grounded and realistic setting, you would need to tone it down little, but it is still packed with pirate-themed ideas for you to use!
Could be also used with Pirate Borg or other pirate rpg´s. As I switched ships (hehe) to Pirate Borg from SoT rpg, I´m planning to create proper conversion to that system.
Could be also used to create an NPC character on the fly by the GameMaster, so its not reserved just for new PC´s.
All art and text inside is humand-made, background here on itch is by Midjourney.
